Paradise Island Double IPA

There is an island on Lake Waconia – it’s in our logo.  Most know it as Coney Island, but few remember the original name and the glory days of Paradise Island.

Waconia Brewing Company made this Double IPA as a tribute to the legacy of the island. A legacy that includes Al Capone, Mark Twain and the National Champion Golden Gopher Football team.

Using all the “island” hops, this high-carbed double has ever changing tropical flavors and aromas of orange, pineapple and passion fruit with a classic Double IPA bitter and boozy finish. At 9.5% ABV, this Double IPA is sure to bring back memories or days on by. So sit back, relax, and enjoy a glass of a new age – a glass, if you will, of Paradise.
