Here is some information about the organization:
The Waconia High School’s Conservation Club was founded in the 2006-2007 school year with the intention of offering Waconia High School students an opportunity to experience and help preserve nature.

The clubs’ main objectives still closely follow the founding philosophies of getting students involved in outdoor learning, stewardship, and hands-on activities.
WHS Conservation Club has sponsored activities such as:
 Nickel Dickel Day Clean Up
 School Forest Ecology Education
 Adopt-a-Highway
 Habitat Restoration and Tree Planting
 Lake Waconia Clean up

Many of the community service projects, such as Lake Waconia
cleanup, tree planting, and BWCA camping were made possible though donations from local individuals and businesses.
